BEACHES ON MYKONOS FOR PARTYGOERS
If you have your mind set on crazy parties you should definitly explore places like Paradise or Super Paradise beaches. They are dominated by some of the best clubs for daytime partying. Super Paradise beach stays quiet but the beach bar gets going in the late afternoon. It’s ideal also for practicing cannonball jumps and the water is fantastic. Mykonos is famous for a quality gay scene, and this beach is renowned for being a “gay beach”. If that is not enough, you should also visit Paraga and Psarou, which also party lovers find interesting, though somewhat calmer.
MYKONOS BEACHES FOR SPORT LOVERS
North part of Mykonos treasures beaches particularly good for summer sports. Although it is where the summer winds hit nicely, but that is not a good enough reason to skip Agios Sostis and Panormos, north of Mykonos Town. The Agios also has a nudist section, so if you’re into that you should definitly check this beautiful beaches and enjoy a drink of two on the waves. And if you prefer windsurfing rather than enjoying sunbathing without swimsuits, you should consider visiting Ftelia, also in that area, beacuse it the exclusively a haven for windsurfers. Also consider heading to the Windsurf Centre Mykonos on Kalafatis beach for lessons, or maybe even try your hand at adrenalin-packed activities such as flyboarding, wakeboarding and wakeskating – you don’t know if you like it untill you try it!
QUIET BEACHES FOR A PERFECT MYKONOS HOLIDAY
Mykonos doesn’t lack places to take the plunge – from infinity pools at top hotels and private plunge pools to beautiful sandy beaches that fringe the island. Beaches on the northern coast of the island are less organized and ideal to enjoy some calm moments. Nudism is frequently practised there. Paraga beach is a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys lounge chairs available to rent. It’s the real thing especially because you can get beachside food and drink service and everything is fairly priced and really delicious.
